Our production process
För att varje kvadratmeter av en filt ska få exakt samma egenskaper måste fibermaterial som ingår blandas noggrant. Vår specialbyggda blandningsutrustning garanterar att små kvantiteter av en fiber fördelas jämnt i hela fiber volymen.
The fibres are first carded out into thin fibre tufts that are laid on top of each other and carded together into a wadding. The method is our own and allows us to choose the laying pattern and combine layers for properties such as colour, fibre dimension and temperature resistance. The wadding can be applied in large widths.
Vaddarna bearbetas med hullingsförsedda nålar så att fibern blir homogen och mer kompakt för varje passage. Nålning görs i specialmaskiner som garanterar att materialet får exakt den täthet, vikt och tjocklek som krävs.
With impregnation, calendering, thermofixing and coating, we can set exactly the right surface structure, dimensional stability and resistance to abrasion, etc.
After cutting, the material is processed in specialised machines that give the final product the exact dimensions and shape required. In compression moulding, special felt is pressed against a mould to give the final product the desired shape.
Finally, a thorough check of quality and dimensions is carried out. We follow procedures according to our quality management system and document the results.
